About Us
To be a Beacon 4 HOPE for Veterans, Active Duty and Teens who have that War within themselves and feel that not living is more important than living. With my personal 2x Story of overcoming the most darkest times in my life you'll find that there is a light in that darkness.
How We Got Started
On Aug 7 1999 in a very dark point in my life I made that decision that my life wasnt worth living anymore and I made my first attempt. 2 yrs later in Feb 2001 after refusuing to work through my Therapy another attempt. Fast forward 22 years I now am a State Certified Peer Support Specialist with LifeWays Community Mental Health the very same Agency where I once was a Consumer. I am an symbol that HOPE truly does exisit with my current work with others who are experiencing that war within themselves and feel that dying is the Only option!

What started me on my path to Public Speaking was this. In the mid 80s I was a member of the Jackson Jaycees and attempted to rid myself of the Shy Introvert behavior by competing in a Speak -Up competition for 11 yrs. Never winning at the state level. I joined Toastmasters in 1991 and spent 5 yrs honing my Speaking skills. In May 1996 in front of 850 Jaycees my name was finally called as the State champion. From that day I've worked to continue my Public Speaking skills all because of Toastmasters.

I would suggest following up one time asking if there was any questions they might have had that you could clear up with more information. If no response, I suggest letting them know if they ever have questions you're open to listening. Never know they might just respond back right away.

Thank you for that question, with the holidays here many organizations reward their staff with some sort of gift. Rather it's a cash type or food. Since its just me obviously I don't. When I do grow and have a team I would reward them in point perks based of on time attendance and other...

When I do grow and have a team I would reward them in point perks based of on time attendance and other criteria. The one or two accumulating the most would receive a larger type gift while the others would still receive something very nice. I believe that rewards come in different packages (no pun intended).
